This year’s major painting was sold during an early preview of the 2024 National Watercolor exhibition which recently opened at Mark Arts in Wichita. (See my post Grounded In The Ethereal.) On the same opening night, more paintings went on display at the Arts Center of Corpus Christi. I was excited to have all three of my entries invited. Two of the paintings were just off the easel and barely dry. Homily for Orange was awarded third prize. If you need an excuse to visit the beach, hurry to Corpus Christi before the exhibition closes on October 26.
